The Cellar d'Or is an independent wine merchant selling interesting, and often rare wines and spirits to both the general public and venues throughout the hospitality trade.  We cater for everybody from novice to connoisseur!

Located in St.Giles Street, very close to the Norwich Lanes shopping area of Norwich, the Cellar d’Or is in fact the only independent wine shop in Norwich. We stock niche wines and spirits from all over the world, many of which are sourced directly from the producer meaning you will not find these products elsewhere.  We boast the most extensive selection of Whisky’s in the city and our impressive range of spirits and international liquors continues to grow.

With a wine list of over 1000 products we can offer something to suit everyone’s taste and budget. We also have an extensive Fine Wine list with vintages going back to the early 1900’s. Our wine cellar includes many rare wines from prestigious producers such as Chateau d’Yquem, Chateau Petrus and Chateau Lafite Rothschild.

Many of our fine wines are bought by collectors looking for a specific bottle, however we also have many customers buying special celebration gifts, with the wine vintage representing the gift recipients year of birth, wedding anniversary, christening year etc.  

As an independent wine merchant, we at The Cellar d’Or pride ourselves on our high level of customer service and strive to make each of our customers feel special. From selecting the right bottle to compliment your evening meal, through to planning the wines needed for corporate events, weddings and all other functions we have the knowledge and experience to make sure everything is perfect.  We also offer a wine advisory service and would be delighted to assist with anything from helping you find the wines that you most enjoy, to offering advice on En Primeur and buying fine wines for collecting and investment purposes.

You are more than welcome to buy by the bottle or by the case and we are available to help you assemble a truly bespoke case of wine.  Our shop regularly features discounted wine offers and we are pleased to host wine tasting evenings, often featuring the wine maker from the particular vineyard.

We are able to deliver anywhere within mainland UK, and customers looking to provide gifts will find that we have a large selection of wine related gifts, gift boxes and mixed cases available. We are happy to suggest wines and spirits to match your needs, be it a single bottle or a personalised mixed case for that special gift.
